What is O LOSIE!?
O LOSIE! is a prize competition platform aimed at the Polish community in the United Kingdom. We organise contests where participants can win attractive prizes, and a portion of the proceeds is donated to support Polish Saturday Schools and other community organizations.
How can I participate in the competition?
First, ensure you have created an account on our website. Then, select the competition you wish to enter.
Fill out and submit the online entry form or follow the instructions for free participation.
After paying the entry fee, you will receive confirmation of your submission with an assigned draw number. If you answered correctly, your name will be entered into the entry list along with other correct answers. If you answered incorrectly, you will not participate in the competition, and your name will not appear on the entry list.
Participants entering for free will not be informed whether they answered the question correctly nor receive confirmation of participation in the draw. However, if they answered correctly, their names will be included in the entry list.
The entry list is published, so all participants should check it to ensure they have been entered into the draw for the competition they joined.
What prizes can be won?
Prizes include cash rewards and culturally valuable items such as vouchers for travel to Poland, tickets to tourist attractions, or other unique products related to Polish heritage.
How will I know if I have won?
We will notify the winner by phone or email within 7 days from the competition's closing date. If you change any of your contact details before the closing date, please inform us by sending a message to:office@olosie.co.uk
We will attempt to contact you using the information you provided. If we cannot reach you within 14 days from the closing date, we reserve the right to select another winner, and you will lose the right to claim the prize.
How long does the competition last?
The opening and closing dates of the competitions are provided on the website. If we need to change any of these dates for any reason, we will update the website accordingly. Date changes will only occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
Can anyone participate in the competition?
The competition is open exclusively to residents of the United Kingdom who are at least 18 years old.
We do not accept entries from people outside these areas because competition regulations vary by country. This competition has been organised in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You also cannot participate if you are a relative of any of the organisers or our suppliers.
What are the prizes?

We reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or higher value if, for any reason, the original prize is not available.
What should I do if I have won?
Winners are notified via email, SMS, or through their account on our website within 7 days after the draw ends. You will receive detailed instructions on how to claim your prize. Verification of your identity may be required.
Can I sell the prize if I don't want it?
Yes, if you are the winner, the prize is yours. You can do whatever you like with it, including selling it.
Is O LOSIE! a legal platform?
Yes, O LOSIE! operates in compliance with the applicable laws in the United Kingdom. We hold all necessary licences and permits to organise prize competitions. We also adhere to regulations regarding data protection and operational transparency.
How do you use my personal data?
We use your data to manage the competition and award prizes. We do not use your data for other purposes.

If you are a winner, we may be required to provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority to confirm that the competition was conducted fairly and that prizes were awarded according to the rules.
You have the right to opt out of our use of your data at any time. However, if you ask us to remove your data from our database before the closing date, you will be withdrawn from the competition and will not be entitled to a refund of entry fees.
Do I have to participate in promotional activities if I win?
No, it is not mandatory. However, with your consent, we would like to share your joy on our website and social media platforms.
Even if you do not wish to participate in any promotional activities, we may be required to provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority to prove that the competition was conducted fairly and the prize was awarded.
What happens if I answer the question incorrectly?
While it may be disappointing, please remember that this is a competition, and providing the correct answer is a condition for entering the draw.
If you answer the question incorrectly, you will not be entered into the draw and thus will not have a chance to win the prize. You will not be entitled to a refund of the entry fee. If you wish, you can try again.
How is the winner selected?
Everyone who answers the question correctly will be entered into the draw. The winner will then be randomly selected from all correct entries.
What are my chances of winning?
The maximum number of entries is specified in each competition, so your chances of winning will vary. For example, if entries are limited to a maximum of 3,000, and you purchase one entry and answer correctly, your chances of winning are no worse than 1 in 3,000.
You can increase your chances by purchasing more entries. For instance, if you buy 10 entries and answer correctly, your chances improve to no worse than 1 in 300.
We say "no worse than" because we expect a significant number of people to answer the question incorrectly. If, for example, 500 people answer incorrectly, your chances with one correct entry improve to 1 in 2,500.

If you answered the question correctly, your name and draw number should appear on theentry list in the competition.
If you answered incorrectly, your name will not appear on the list, and you will not participate in the draw.
Can I get a refund of the entry fee?
We do not offer refunds of entry fees if you answer the question incorrectly or are disqualified from the competition for any reason.
